Kaabo Wolf Warrior X 2024 – $1699
The Wolf Warrior X might be the industry’s best kept secret. It’s got the high speed and stability of really big scooters, but it’s just small enough that you can carry it up a flight of stairs, squeeze it into the trunk of your car, or lift it over your head.
The new Wolf Warrior X rose to the top of our leaderboard of fast, dual motor scooters under $3K. It’s got an ESG-certified top speed that’s faster than the 2019 Wolf Warrior 11 and the Mantis King GT, but it weighs 30 pounds less than the Wolf Warrior and costs $500 less than the Mantis.
In our review, we show you real world top speed and range numbers, what it’s like to ride the newly updated Wolf Warrior X (and a couple of things about it that drive me bananas), and we’ll look at some of the differences when we test it head to head against the Wolf Warrior X GT.
Who Is This Scooter For?
I want to just say it’s for everyone, because I genuinely have just a gut-level deep love of this scooter for its ride quality. It’s going to be awesome, on-road, off-road, commuting, group rides, it’s even a decent first scooter if you keep it in the lower modes.
So let me list who it’s not for, and it’s basically just limited by budget and portability. If you’re on the smaller side and need to haul it up two or more flights of stairs, any of the 40mph+ scooters are going to be a chore. But I’d be willing to go up one flight of stairs per day for the X.

So Stable You Can Ride One-Handed – Just Don't Do It!!!
In our video review, you’ll see me riding the Wolf Warrior X 2024 with no hands. I cannot say this enough: Please don’t ride like me! Riding one-handed (or no-handed) is one of biggest causes of accidents; it’s too easy to lose control.
But the Wolf Warrior X is so stable that a very experienced rider in full safety gear can take their hands off the grips without crashing. This kind of stability is what makes this scooter feel like such a good ride, and it’s hard to quantify or describe, exactly.
