Summary

The VMAX VX4 is back, and this time it’s faster, smoother, and more powerful than ever. While it looks similar to the previous generation, the upgrades are serious — a 52V system with a peak 2,800W rear motor, oil-damped front suspension with preload adjusters, and patented elastomeric rear suspension for plush, long-travel comfort. In real-world testing, it smashed past the claimed 33 mph top speed to hit 36.5 mph, with a 0–15 mph acceleration time of just 3.3 seconds. It also crushed steep hills in under 9 seconds and impressed with stability at high speeds, even downhill. The 10-inch tubeless hybrid tires and 7.5-inch ground clearance make it equally at home on streets, gravel, or mixed terrain.

Range is solid for a performance-heavy single-motor scooter, hitting 20.9 miles with a heavier rider and up to 27 miles for lighter riders. The VX4 rides beautifully straight out of the box — no app setup required — with intuitive cockpit controls, eco/sport modes, and a “Beast Mode” toggle for max power. Downsides? The stem latch is improved but still not perfect, and a horn would be better than the stock bell for urban riding. Overall, the VMAX VX4 delivers a rare combo of comfort, build quality, and raw speed that makes it one of the best single-motor electric scooters on the market for both commuting and thrill rides.
