Teewing is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands. Each of their models delivers insane performance for the price, while being built with high quality and the most up-to-date components. We tested the Teewing Mars XTR 10,000W electric scooter a little while ago, and it topped our performance tests in just about every category and has become a favorite among the ESG staff.
For $500 less than Teewing’s top-of-the-line electric scooter, you can get the Teewing Mars XT 8000W, which – as you might have guessed – gives you a peak motor output of 8,000 Watts vs 10,000 Watts. The Mars XT 8000W also has a slightly smaller battery: 2520Wh vs 3240Wh. Otherwise, it’s an identical scooter.
How much difference does 2,000 Watts make? Is it worth saving a little bit of money, or should you ante up and get the big boy? I give you my take below.
