Apollo Phantom 2.0 Review – Best Electric Scooter of 2025?

Apollo Phantom 2.0 (52V) | $2999 MSRP / $2399 Introductory

The Apollo Phantom 2.0 is easily one of the most premium electric scooter releases of 2025. This isn’t just a few incremental upgrades slapped onto an existing platform. Apollo has redesigned the Phantom from the ground up.

We’ll get into the review below, but first, let’s talk pricing. The full MSRP of this scooter is $2,999 US. Apollo is now offering the Phantom 2.0 at the introductory price of $2,399, but if you’re one of the first 20 people to order with our exclusive coupon code ESGPHANTOM, you’ll save an additional $200 and get the new Apollo Phantom 2.0 for only $2,199!

This review is for the standard, 52V version of the Phantom 2.0. But Apollo’s going to do something they haven’t done in a couple years: they’re releasing a 60V version of the Phantom 2.0, called the Apollo Phantom Stellar, later this year. But trust me when I say that this 52V Phantom already has plenty of power. It’s definitely a super scooter.

We ran all our usual tests on top speed, braking, range, handling, and reliability. We’ve also re-introduced an extra special test – back by popular demand, the drop test.

Who Is This Scooter For?

This is a scooter that will fit every rider, even Big Dawgs like myself who might haven felt a little squeezed on the earlier Phantoms. The deck is larger and the handlebars are wider. And with a weight limit of 330 pounds and 11-inch tires, you don’t ever need to worry about the scooter bottoming out.

The Phantom is also for riders who want the absolute latest electric scooter tech and who expect maximum reliability. When I talked to the founders at CES, they told me about how they put every scooter through 10,000 kilometers of machine testing, then they have a huge community of test riders who take the scooters out for hundreds more miles miles before launch.

They’ve got some of the best warranties, highest water resistance levels, and most integrated proprietary tech in the industry. If you want the most premium ride of 2025, Apollo’s got it.
